Measure or weigh
Use the box or round options for simple shapes. For anything detailed, fill a cavity with water and weigh it, it is the most accurate way.
Tools and calculators
Work out how much wax, soap or resin fills each cavity.
Fill a cavity with water, pour it into a cup on the scales. One gram of water is one millilitre.
Densities are typical figures. Check the one on your supplier's data sheet, and weigh a test pour before a big batch.

Use the box or round options for simple shapes. For anything detailed, fill a cavity with water and weigh it, it is the most accurate way.
Wax is lighter than water, resin and soap a little heavier, and concrete more than twice as heavy. That changes how much you need to buy.
Jugs, spills and top-ups all use material. Ten per cent is a sensible cushion for most small-batch pours.
